Carlo Rosa

Chief Executive Officer

Carlo Rosa is Chief Executive Officer of the DiaSorin Group, a position he has held since 2006. He graduated summa cum laude in Chemistry from the University of Turin in 1990 and began his career in New York, working at the Health Research Institute on an innovative project for the diagnosis of Hepatitis C.

In 1992, he joined Incstar Corporation (Minnesota), where he initially worked in Research & Development in collaboration with Akzo Nobel. He later held roles of increasing responsibility in both R&D and Strategic Marketing, eventually becoming Head of the Infectious Diseases Business Unit.

In 1998, he returned to Italy to join Diasorin as Director of Strategy and Marketing for Europe. In 2000, he led a management buy-out alongside other managers and financial investors to acquire Diasorin from its previous owner, American Standard Inc. Following the acquisition, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, and in 2006, he became CEO of the Group.

Since 2016, he has served as Vice President of Assobiotec and is a member of the Board of the Italian Institute of Technology Foundation.
