Introduction and Scope
This US Privacy Policy explains how DiaSorin Inc., DiaSorin Molecular LLC, and Luminex Corporation collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information about individuals in the United States who visit our websites, interact with our online services, engage with us at events, or otherwise communicate with us in a non-employment capacity. It does not apply to job applicants, employees, contractors, or other members of our workforce; if you are a member of our workforce, please refer to our separate Workforce Privacy Notice.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you choose to provide, such as names, contact details, job titles, login credentials for accounts you create, and similar identifiers when you submit forms, request information, or register for services. When you interact with our websites or emails, we collect internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing and interaction data, device and browser details, IP addresses, and information about the pages, content, or ads you view, which we use to operate, secure, and improve our services and to personalize your experience.
We obtain personal information directly from you, from your devices as you use our websites and online services, from our affiliates and distributors, from event organizers and lead capture tools when you engage with us at conferences and webinars, and from service providers who support our operations. In our consumer-facing interactions, we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals for marketing. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to respond to your requests, provide and support our websites, products, and services, create and manage your accounts, process transactions, and deliver customer and technical support. We do not sell personal information and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months. If you are a California resident, these rights include the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, our business or commercial purposes, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose information, and the categories of information we have disclosed for a business purpose. For your protection, we will verify your identity or authority to make the request by matching information you provide with information in our systems before fulfilling your request. If we deny your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response or by contacting us through the same channels and indicating that you wish to appeal. We will respond to appeals in writing within a reasonable period.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through our consumer-facing websites, and we do not knowingly share the personal information of minors for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information, but we may share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out at any time by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control in our website footer. We retain personal information for as long as needed to achieve the purposes described above, to meet legal and regulatory requirements, to resolve disputes, and to maintain security and business continuity; when information is no longer needed, we will delete it or deidentify it consistent with applicable law.

Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide services, maintain and improve our operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve diputes, enforce agreements, and protect our systems. In practice, this means we keep contact and account information while you maintain an account or an active relationship with us and for a reasonable period thereafter, retain records of transactions and communications for periods required by law and regulation, and maintain technical logs and analytics data for periods that help us secure and improve our websites. Where retention periods are spelled out in specific notices or agreements, we will follow those; otherwise, we will apply criteria that reflect the nature of the information and the reasons for processing it.
Security and International Transfers
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly s cure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our affiliates and service providers may be located in the United States and other countries. Minors
Our consumer-facing websites and online services are intended for adults and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 through these services. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
