NxTAG® Respiratory Pathogen Panel v2
Pre-plated, lyophilized reagents facilitate a simple workflow with just one pipetting step, ensuring an easy fit in any lab’s daily routine
Detect 19 viral pathogens, including SARS‑CoV‑2, and two bacterial pathogens in a single well, enabling thorough respiratory health analysis.
Disease state
Respiratory tract infections involve a wide variety of etiologic agents, and present with overlapping signs and symptoms. Prediction of the causative organism based on clinical findings alone is not reliable. The most frequent agents responsible for respiratory infections are respiratory viruses, and then bacteria. It is important to ensure accurate detection of causative agents, especially in high-risk individuals and/or critically ill patients. Reflexing from negative targeted tests to determine unknown causes in ongoing sick individuals is key for appropriate patient management and or isolation. Panel testing is also highly valuable in determining respiratory pathogen outbreaks outside winter seasons.1

The value of NxTAG®
Respiratory Pathogen Panel v2
Empower laboratories with a cost-effective, highly scalable syndromic respiratory panel
Clinical impact
Produce high-quality, trustworthy results for a broad spectrum of pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2. Face rising co-infections and fluctuating etiological agents with proven technology. Guide timely and appropriate treatment decisions for inpatients and high-risk patients.
Outstanding economic value
Cost effective reagents within a closed tube system reduce total workflow costs and minimize contamination.
Scalable format
A scored 96-well test plate allows you to run 1 to 94 samples to meet your sample volume and throughput needs.
How the NxTAG® Respiratory Pathogen Panel v2 Test works
NxTAG® Respiratory Pathogen Panel v2 is a multiplexed in-vitro diagnostic test for the detection and identification of respiratory disease-causing viruses and bacteria from extracted nucleic acid samples.
Add
Add 1-94 extracted samples to pre-plated test wells containing lypholized reagents.
